Town Hall

under construction

The Town Hall is a valuable community asset which the Trust seeks to manage solely for the benefit of the residents of Crail. The incorporation of the Town Hall Trust into the CCT as a Trust activity stems principally from the difficulties that previous Town Hall Committees have maintaining its membership.

The Trust is always seeking ways to improve the Hall. Recently the lighting was significantly improved and the floor re-sanded and sealed. Other ways of enhancing the decor and function of the Hall are being explored while maintaining its historical character and appearance. The Trust is also keen to expand the range of activities the Hall and Library can support, such as widening access to computing facilities for locals and visitors.

The Town Hall is an important hub for the community Crail, as is evident by the popularity of the Coffee Mornings run by the Trust and its central role in the running of the annual Crail Festival.

The Town Hall may be booked for private use at £12.50 per session (morning, afternoon or evening) or £25 for the whole day. The Bookings Diary is available at the Post Office. These revised charges come into force from January 1st 2014.
